LONDON'S PREMIER JACK THE RIPPER TOUR

TAKE A SPINE CHILLING JOURNEY INTO TERROR

As the shadows lengthen, and the day draws to a close, why not enjoy a fascinating Jack the Ripper Walk through the atmospheric old streets of London's East End as you follow in the footsteps of one of history's most infamous and sinister figures?

A JACK THE RIPPER WALK THAT EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS

"...We have completed the walk on a number of occasions in the past with a different company and this was much better.

This walk exceeded all our expectations after the previous visits with a different company when we have been left disappointed."

SANDRA MCMAHON - THE THOMAS AVELING SCHOOL.

Step by bloodcurdling step on our Jack the Ripper tour you will be taken further and further into the old streets and narrow alleyways that have changed little since the long ago days when the ripper prowled their shadows.

Such is the atmosphere of these old places that you will almost sense that you have been transported back in time as you feel the terror and experience the horror that the Victorian residents endured as the ripper murders increased in their savagery, the police raced against time to catch the killer before he could kill again, and panic began to grip the area.

ONE OF LONDON'S LONGEST ESTABLISHED JACK THE RIPPER WALKS

Since 1982 our Jack the Ripper Tour has been introducing Londoners and visitors alike to the dark alleyways and sinister thoroughfares where the Jack the Ripper murders occurred. We are one of the longest established and best known Jack the Ripper tour operators with an unrivalled reputation for quality and reliability.

Our Jack the Ripper walks London are widely considered to be amongst the best on offer. We are the only company that limits the number of participants on our Jack the Ripper tours to a reasonable and manageable number; we follow a more atmospheric route and visit more of the actual murder sites than any other Jack the Ripper Tour; and we go out of our way to offer you a standard of service that is second to none.

EXPERT TOUR GUIDES THREE OF WHOM ARE PUBLISHED AUTHORS

Our tour guides on our Jack the Ripper walk are experts who know this fascinating subject inside out. In fact we have more Jack the Ripper expert guides than any other London walks company.

THE BEST JACK THE RIPPER WALK

"...We want to book a private group tour and I would like to request Jenny Phillips be our guide.

We took a tour with Jenny in December and loved her. That was actually our third Jack the Ripper tour in a week -- we tried two other companies first and were not impressed at all and had just about given up on having a tour as part of our celebration.

I have to say you guys are by far the best. I was very impressed with how Jenny kept us entertained and interested despite the cold weather and after we had already been on 2 other tours that week -- that really says something about her abilities..."

Patricia Johnson
N. J. USA

Three of our guides are published authors, five of them have appeared regularly on Jack the Ripper documentaries and four of them have been regular guest speakers at Jack the Ripper conferences and seminars in both the UK and the USA.

It's a degree of expertise that is without rival in this business and it is the main reason for our standing as London's leading Jack the Ripper Tour.

YOU'LL START AT THE EPICENTRE OF JACK THE RIPPER'S LONDON

Our Jack the Ripper walk is the ONLY one of the Jack the Ripper tours that starts in the heart of the district where the murders occurred, and we follow a more atmospheric route than any other Jack the Ripper Walk. Indeed we're so confident of this we provide a step by step guide to our Jack the Ripper Walk route so that you can see for yourself just how evocative of the Victorian East End it is.

From the first narrow cobbled alley that we enter (which often draws gasps of surprise from tour participants) to the moment we enter Mitre Square to stand on the exact spot where Jack the Ripper's fourth victim was murdered you will be taken on a spine chilling journey back to the autumn of 1888.

Many of the buildings covered in the first hour of our tour are still just as they were when the ripper roamed the shadows.

WE'LL LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE ON YOUR TOUR

But, to get the full atmosphere of those long ago nights, when terror stalked the shadows and the people of the area walked in constant fear, you really need to be part of a sensibly sized group. You don't want to be part of one of the cattle drive Jack the Ripper tours that advertise "no need to book just turn up."

If some-one tells you to just turn up without booking they have no way of controlling their numbers of their Jack the Ripper tour and there is a good chance that you will end up being herded round in a huge cattle drive that might number 70 or more people and might even be as many as 200 - 300 people all of whom are struggling to see and hear just one guide. Is that really an experience you'd enjoy?

OUR JACK THE RIPPER WALKS ARE HEARD NOT HERD

Our approach on our London Jack the Ripper walks has always been different. We want to control the numbers so that those who join us on the Jack the Ripper tour enjoy a more intimate and chilling experience. The old alleys that we take you in to cannot accommodate the massive groups that have become the norm for several of the London walks Jack the Ripper Tours.

We think it is important that you should get to experience the area as it was and that you get to visit as many of the murder sites as can be covered on a walking tour of Jack the Ripper's London. Our smaller numbers mean we can cover a wider area. We can also fit comfortably into those sinister, dark alleyways that present you with the true ambience of the Victorian East End.

YOU'LL SEE GENUINE VICTORIAN PHOTOGRAPHS

We are constantly researching Victorian photo collections to see if we can find forgotten photographs of the East End Streets that help paint an even clearer picture of what the streets through which you will walk looked like in 1888. Indeed several of our guides have made important discoveries of long forgotten photographs that show the murder sites as they were shortly after the murders occurred.

WE'LL KEEP YOU UP TO DATE ON ALL DEVELOPMENTS

We want the Jack the Ripper tour to be as informative and comprehensive as possible. That is why we are constantly honing our route and looking into ways of bringing you the most authentic Jack the Ripper Walk.

In addition. should a new piece of information be found about the Jack the Ripper murders we're on to it immediately. In this way we are able to keep as up to date about this fascinating subject as it is possible to be.

As we say, we're with you every step of the way!
