Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for the wonderful Jack the Ripper tour we took with you guys.
It's something that I have wanted to do for a while, both my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the tour, it was interesting, insightful and very atmospheric.
I didnt catch the lady's name who was actually conducting the tour. However, please pass on our thanks to her for doing, what only can be described as a superb and fantastic job.
We will both pass on the good word and have already recommended to our friends that this tour is a must when they are next in London.

LONDON'S LEADING JACK THE RIPPER WALK
We've been conducting our Jack the Ripper London walks since 1982, which has given us over twenty seven years to ensure we've got it right!
When you join us for one of our London walks around Jack the Ripper's
London you will be joining the experts on both the Jack the Ripper story and on guiding London walks.
Three of our guides are published authors on the subject (in fact we offer you more published authors than any of the other London walks) and five of them have appeared on virtually every Jack the Ripper documentary over the last ten years.
In addition, we are the only London walks company to have produced our own critically acclaimed drama-documentary "Unmasking Jack the Ripper."
In short, no other Jack the Ripper London walks can offer you the in depth knowledge and expertise that you will find on our tour.
WE OFFER THE MOST ATMOSPHERIC ROUTE
Several of our guides have undergone rigourous training and examinations to earn the highest accolade in the British Tourism industry - the Blue Badge.
These guides know about guiding and have, over the years, done Jack the Ripper London walks from other stations, such as Tower Hill. They are therefore in a position to make legitimate comparisons and have commented on several occassions that our starting point of Aldgate East Underground Station is the best place from which to begin a Jack the Ripper London walk.
A DESCRIPTION OF OUR JACK THE RIPPER WALK.
Our walk begins on Whitechapel High Street close to where the first Whitechapel Murder victim, Emma Smith, was attacked in April 1888.
We then cross over the High Street to pass through an old archway (it has survived from 1888)
and enter Gunthorpe Street.
The moment the walk enters Gunthorpe Street you will find yourself pitched back to 1888. This is a truly atmospheric start to your journey as it is a cobblestone thoroughfare in which are located several buildings that have survived from the "autumn of terror" when Jack the Ripper prowled these very shadows.
It was in Gunthorpe Street, then called George Yard, that Martha Tabram was murdered in early August 1888. We discuss whether or not she was a victim of the killer who became known as Jack the Ripper and show you the exact location of her murder.
From this point on you will find yourself walking through streets that are, more or less, exactly as they were in 1888. Indeed we feature more actual places linked to the mystery of the Whitechaepl murders than any other Jack the Ripper London walk.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE TOUR INCLUDE
- The former Frying Pan Pub where the first definate victim of Jack the Ripper, Mary Nichols, was drinking shortly before her body was discovered nearby.
- The building which, more than any other in the area, reflects the changing immigration patterns in the distric and which, again, was most certainly here in 1888.
- A wonderfully atmospheric
warren of 18th century streets lined with houses that formed the backcloth against which the Jack the Ripper sage was played out. - The soaring white spire of the church that dominates the district today, just as it did in 1888, and upon which the victims of Jack the Ripper would have gazed on an almost daily basis.
- The old convent where Mary Kelly, the last victim of Jack the Ripper, reputedly sought shelter shortly before she was murdered.
- The doorway where Jack the Ripper's ONLY clue was discovered.

WE'LL EVEN SHOW YOU OLD PHOTOGRAPHS
There's no denying that parts of the area have changed a great deal since 1888. But don't worry,
we are constantly ploughing through photographic archives endeavouring to locate photographs of the streets along which you will be walking to show you how they looked in 1888.
Our clients constantly comment on how these photographs enhance their experience of our tour and help them gain a true understanding of what the area was like at the time of the Jack the Ripper murders in London.
WE PROVIDE A STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO OUR ROUTE
We are so confident of how atmosperic our Jack the Ripper Tour route is that we provide you with a step by step guide to the route that our tour takes.
This takes you around the route and shows you photographs of the places and sites that we visit as we go round. There's no hyping, no sniping, no griping, just a step by step online journey that will enable you to see the places that you will visit on our Jack the Ripper London walk.
WE GIVE YOU A COMPARISON TIMELINE
In addition we provide you with a timeline that compares the route taken by the Jack the Ripper tours that depart from Tower Hill with ours that departs from Aldgate East Underground Station.
YOU THEN DECIDE WHICH TOUR TO TAKE
Armed with all this information you will then be in a much better position to decide for yourself which of the Jack the Ripper London walks you would prefer to join.
REMEMBER, WE LIMIT THE NUMBERS
The main difference between us and other Jack the Ripper London Walking tours is that we
are the only company that limits the number of participants on our London walks to a sensible and manageable number of around 34 people per guide.
As a result when you join our tour you can look forard to expert guides, the most atmospheric Jack the Ripper Tour Route and smaller more intimate groups than you will find on the huge cattle drive tours that depart from Tower Hill.
This unique approach means that we can actuallt get into the narrow, creepier alleyways where the ambience of Victorian London still holds sway. As we like to put it, our tours are heard not herd.
ARE YOU READY TO WANDER THE SHADOWS?
So if you want to really get to grips with the mystery of Jack the Ripper.
If you are the type of person that likes the idea of joining a smaller and more manageable group, as opposed to being crammed onto a huge unwieldy cattle drive.
If you want to be guided by experts who know the Jack the Ripper subject inside out and who are both able and willing to answer any questions you might have.
If you want to see actual Victorian photographs of the streets through which you are walking as they looked in 1888 at the time of the Jack the Ripper murders.
If you want to follow the murders in chronological order by way of a route that takes you into streets that are still just as they were in 1888.
Then be sure to join the ONLY Jack the Ripper London walks that offer all of these.
