WELCOME TO OUR WALKS OF EAST LONDON

We want to ensure that you enjoy your time spent with us and to that end we do suggest that you read out terms and conditions.

BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL

Since we limit the numbers on our Jack the Ripper Tours we ask you to book in advance. By knowing how many people we have on the tour we can allocate the correct number of guides and ensure that we keep the number of participants on each of our walks to a sensible and manageable number.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH PAYMENTS

Payment is due at the time of booking and is done by credit or debit card. Our booking system uses Paypal one of the most trusted names in online security. One your payment has gone through you will receive an automated confirmation and your name will be placed on the guest list for the night you have booked.

WE GO REGARDLESS OF WEATHER CONDITIONS

Our walks take place whatever the weather. We go rain, shine, snow, and especially thick, thick fog. Please be sure to check the weather forecast on the day of your tour and to dress accordingly.

CHANGES TO THE TOUR

We reserve the right to alter any part of the tour should circumstances beyond out control dictate. We always try to include every aspect of the tour that we advertise but, very occasionally, road works, road closures and other unforeseen circumstances intervene to make changes necessary. Our guides will always inform you if changes have to be made to the advertised route.

NO ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED ON THE TOUR

As this is a public tour we ask that you don't bring alcohol with you to drink as you walk around the streets. We reserve the right to ask anyone who is drunk, or who is acting in a manner that is spoiling the tour for others, to leave the tour.

TOUR PARTICIPANTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY

We ask you to be aware of your own personal safety at all times. We ask you to be especially careful when crossing roads and to cross them with your own personal safety in mind.

TOUR CANCELLATION

In the very unlikely event that we have to cancel a tour we will notify you by email and offer you the choice of switching to another night or a full refund.

SHOULD YOU HAVE TO CANCEL THE TOUR

Should you find that you cannot make it on the night you have booked for we are happy to transfer your booking to another night or to issue a full refund providing you give us reasonable notice of at least 24 hours. Should you need to cancel on the day of the tour we can only issue a refund if we can re-sell the places. By booking on to the tour you are agreeing to be bound by our cancellation policy.

We regret that no refunds can be issued if you simply fail to turn up for the tour on the night for which you have booked without contacting us.

LARGE GROUPS ON THE TOUR AND CANCELLATIONS

For large groups of 8 or more people we require at least 72 hours notice of cancellation as we will then have to resell your places. With less than 72 hours notice we will only issue a refund for places that we have been able to re-sell. Again you agree to be bound by the large group cancellation policy when you make the booking.

Your total satisfaction with our tour is important to us and if we have failed you in any way we want to know. Complaints will be answered quickly and we will do all we can to resolve the situation.
