PLAN YOUR JOURNEY TO THE TOUR
PLAN YOUR ROUTE TO ALDGATE EAST
You can use the above map to plan your journey to the Jack the Ripper Tour by underground.
Simply type in the station at which you will be starting your journey and it will be highlighted on the map.
You can then simply follow the route you will need to take by sliding the map across until you see Aldgate East, which is located to the East of Central London, or to the right of the map.
When planning your journey to the start of the Jack the Ripper walk, we suggest that you allow 2 minutes for every station you must pass through to reach Aldgate East and then add 10 minutes in case there are any tube delays.
UNSURE OF YOUR ROUTE? - PLEASE USE THE JOURNEY PLANNER
The following journey planner will help you plan your route to the start of the Jack the Ripper Walking Tour of London.
Simply replace "From" with the name of the station you will be travelling from and you will be given the fastest route between there and Aldgate East Underground Station where our Jack the Ripper Tour begins.
Although the journey planner will give you the suggested duration of your journey we do suggest that you follow our suggestion of allowing 2 minutes for each station you will need to pass through and then add an extra ten minutes to allow for any delays.
CHECK FOR DELAYS BEFORE YOU SET OFF
Delays are a fact of life on the tube system and they happen with depressing regularity.
We do suggest that you have a look at the service update below about an hour before you set off and then you can set of earlier should the tube line you will be arriving by be experiencing delays.
Should you be booked on to the tour for a Saturday or a Sunday it's also worth clicking on the "This Weekend" link as there are sometimes line closures at the weekend which might add time to your journey.
